From what the picture showed to what it looked like were completely different. For the price it was to stay there, the shower should have been warmer better water pressure and the beds more comfortable.

Mostly disinterested person at the desk. Most of the lobby lights are shut off so it feels like a cave. Toilet seat was broken. Worlds tiniest bar of soap. Room was clean, beds were low end of hotel comfort. Feels like they are trying to extract the last couple dollars before calling it quiet. But hey, at least you can rent your uhaul from the same counter as the check in.

Hotel was good for what we paid. It did appear to be a little run down - could use a good cosmetic/cleaning overhaul. I would also recommend they reconsider the set up of the continental breakfast - everything was set up in one straight line, which caused a large line to get to everything, when many people just wanted certain items. For example, have biscuits/gravy/eggs/sausage separate from waffles and muffins; have juice/coffee separate as well.

The beginning of the stay was a little rocky. We were put in a room that had cord leading to the adjoining running was was blowing hot air. The front desk did move us immediately upon note. Customer service was great the entire stay.

Front areas and lobby very clean. Mattress was sagging though. Needs some improvements on the property. But with these improvements the Wingate will be a good place to stay.
