Ive been traveling for 19 years for work and this is the WORST place ive ever stayed…they do not have working tv’s,the AC works in certain rooms and they will not tell you…key card access doesnt work, pool doesnt work, ice machine doesnt work, washer dryer doesnt work..they show all these amenities online but not one WORKS!!!I will never stay at the place again even if its FREE…the bar was nice though…

We left the property within 15 minutes of check in. It was so vile, filthy, had dead bugs and we observed what appeared to be rodent droppings in the hall. The room we were assigned was dirty. The rug was stained. It had not been vacuumed. The air conditioning was set at 60, but was spewing hot air. We were told we would be refunded. It had better happen.

Terrible

Moved 3 times and still didnt have a room with ac. It was sweltering in the room and i had my littles with me. They refused to refund my room so we couldnt stay sonewhere else. In the morning the floor was covered with hundreds of beetles, crickets and i dont know what else. Outside door locks didnt work with key card.

Bad place to stay

There was food behind the tv and in the air conditioner. the sink was plugger up. the air conditioner was loud the tv did not work i called the front desk to tell them and they said sorry there is nothing they can do. the glass in the doors are broken and trying to sleep at night someone's dog just kept barking. i would not recommend this place at all. pictures on the internet is misleading.

I want a refund

Pool closed. WiFi broken. Booked a king accessible room. First room they sent me to was upstairs (no elevator), had 2 doubles, no accessible bathroom, and broken AC. It took the desk half an hour to find me a room because they had to check them one at a time. Had no clue what/where the accessible rooms were. Finally got a room after 30 minutes. The AC kinda worked… the shower is low step, but no seat. Door is 28” wide. Deft not ADA compliant. Phone broken. Smoke detector hanging from the wires. Tv sometimes quit. I request a refund

Terrible. Seems like they stopped caring about taking care of this place years ago. The attendant at the front was having issues with the computer and asking management for help, but they failed to give him any solutions and he had to figure it out himself. Very nice at the front but not well equipped. In the room the AC barely worked, we looked down at the filter and it was CAKED in dust and looked like it was never cleaned. The tv did not work when we got in there. I was able to wiggle the cord in the back into a decent spot to get some service. There WIFI had been down for a while and not offered. The sink faucet hardly worked. The phone in the room didn’t work. The parking lot was filled with potholes and very sketchy area.

I arrived around 6pm to check in for a 4 night stay. Process was fast and clerk was very friendly. I was told my room number but when I walked in I found the room uncleaned from previous visitors. I walked back to the front desk explained what the room look like and the clerk apologized. Said she thought it had been done but would put me in a new room. The clerk walked me to the new room to to make sure everything is okay. That little trip to going into the new room the clerk and I realized that the air conditioning was broke. Do you want to stop so she placed me in a room across the hall. Everything was great the first night left for work the second day came back to the hotel to find my key to not work. Went to the front desk and the clerk stated she had rented my room out and my name was registered to another room. I told her what had happened the night before and she said that my room number wasn't changed in the system. I walked with the clerk to my room to find the new tenant sitting outside the door stating she could not get in. The cleaning maid had never even came to my room.. the rest of my stay went about the same had to check in every single day and even though the hotel is as big as it is they seem to put new tenants right next door to me that we're not quiet and respectful... The pool was also down, hotel out of date, I won't stay at this hotel again I was hoping with the name changed that things would have changed but obviously that did not happen.

Stay away!!!! Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!!

The Econolodge in Casper, Wyoming is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It was so bad, I documented it in a YouTube video: https://youtu.be/YuSXe_n7_2Y My wife booked a night there after our visit to Yellowstone. When we arrived, there were few cars in the parking lot, but several shady looking smokers hanging around outside the small casino attached to the hotel. That was the first red flag. The sign at the front counter saying no refunds after more than a half hour from check-in was the second. The hotel advertises a pool, but the pool was empty. Third red flag. Then our key cards stopped working. Red flag number four. After checking in, we went out for dinner. When we got back, we noticed that our AC wasn’t working. The kid at the front desk offered us a different room, but he had to check it first, because they’ve had problems with people checking into dirty rooms. The new room had a working AC, but there were no batteries for the TV remote. The kid at the front desk gave me some batteries, but it didn’t matter — the TV didn’t work. I went to complain, and the sketchy maintenance guy told me none of the TVs in the entire hotel worked. Some other problems: the back door seemed to have been completely torn from its hinges. One large window out back was covered in plywood. Another was patched with cardboard and duck tape. The washing machine and ice machines were broken. Meanwhile,a couple of employees were getting drunk at the hotel bar.

Wait to get room was 1 1/2 hours in Lobby. Overbooked room, keys did not work. Found room open. Dirty, no water, no towels. Dirt and hair in bathroom, at least the toilet flushed. Staff made excuses for everything. Was only room left so stayed. (No choice in whole town) Was advised I would not be charged at check out. None of the exterior door locked. Trash piled up around every exterior trash can.

Very unprofessional in all ways. I booked through Travelocity for 3 nights and my stay was cancelled. I would like to have my money refunded. Hotel said Travelocity is responsible that.

This hotel is not fit to be open. They complained of not enough staff and it showed. There was no A/C, no breakfast, no internet, andbno working vending machines. Mildew in the tub, and a moldy non-functioning coffee pot kind of sealed the deal. But then came the bugs. Both inside and outside the room. It is a shame as this was a very nice place several years ago. 10/10 would not recomend and will not go back.

Our room wasn’t ready until 9:45pm! We didn’t have towels or cups or even hand soap. The exercise room was not kept up and I was afraid to even try the equipment. No breakfast. All that and we had to pay $130

Unacceptable

We tried to check in at 8:45pm they didn't have any clean rooms so didn't get in until 2 hours later. Found room was not clean, 1 king instead of 2 double, missing pillowcases, smoke detector beeping, thermostat broken and room was 81 degrees. Was told by reception that we would be put on bottom of list of 7 other guests waiting for room. Got second room, toilet was broken, only had king bed again but was told they would bring in a fold/cot never got it so my daughter slept in chair. What I'm assuming are water stains on ceiling, NO smoke detector, and this thermostat wouldn't go under 76 degrees. Won't refund if booked through 3rd party so couldn't even get a refund. Employees rude and condescending except what I assume to be lead housekeeper. Have pictures but cant figure how to unload here.

Evidently, there were a lot of events taking place in Casper that weekend. When we pulled up to the hotel, I was in disbelief. I could not believe that a place in such a run down condition could be open for business. Initially, we waited in line for an hour, just to be issued our key cards. Someone from behind the desk kept hollering to the front desk person not to give away her room. Our reservation of two double beds was given away. Supposedly all they had left was a king. If there had been other alternatives for lodging, we would have gone elsewhere. Everywhere else was booked. There was a full sheet of plywood on the large window by the back entrance, near our room. Our sink kept threatening to overflow, even though we were not using it. We were next to the laundry room, so we are pretty sure that is why the sink kept filling with a tinted purple, soapy water. There were potato bugs throughout the room. The grass was terribly overgrown in the courtyard area. When we used our key to the room the first time, it worked. When we tried later, the key did not work. My husband went to the front desk but the line was so long he did not wait. We went to eat and came back. There was an employee in the hall that later let us in. These photos are NOTHING at all how the place looks. I don't like feeling vulnerable, yet everything about this experience made me feel that way.

Don’t Stay

Didn’t even get to stay at the Econo Lodge. I stood in the check in line for an hour and still didn’t make it to check in. I had to drive 2 hours back home. They were double booking rooms and after hearing all the complaints from the other costumers while standing in line forever I had to make a choice to just drive back home. I’ve tried to call the manager several times but I get the same message that the manager is not there. This was not a fun experience and just want to get this out there so other people don’t just waste there hard earn money on a place like this. Now I’m stuck because I booked through Hotels.com without the refund option. I paid 130.00 and had to drive all the way back home and with fuel prices it definitely hurt the bank account!!!

My family and I booked two rooms Saturday, June 11th on our way to Montana. We arrived at the hotel around 1130pm to check in only to be told that our rooms were not clean. We were given neither an explanation nor a time frame of when they would be ready. Considering the hour and that the lobby was full with others with the same predicament, we did not feel we would get our room Ina timely manner so we cancelled in an effort to find lodging elsewhere. As happens when booking with a third party, we were still charged. A few days ago, I spoke with Savannah at the property who apologized for the situation, told me to have the booking agent call her and she would take care of it. Today, I find out from the agent that they called the hotel and were told by the property that no refund could be issued due to the cancelation policy. A cancelation policy that shouldn't matter considering it was their own fault we never occupied the rooms.
