The hotel was beautiful — we stayed in the rooftop suite (highly recommend) and they even had a birthday cake waiting for my boyfriend, which was a nice touch. Check-in was smooth with a welcome drink, and the bartenders + VIP dinner were the highlights of our stay. Food had a lot of variety and tasted great!
BUT... room service didn’t answer the first night, WiFi was super spotty, and housekeeping was a battle. We stayed 5 days and they didn’t clean the room until day 4 — I had to keep calling and complaining just to get basic service. Also felt like they catered more to lighter-skinned guests and Spanish speakers, which didn’t sit right.
You can’t swim in the ocean due to dangerous waves, and overall customer service was meh until we complained.
Wouldn’t say I’d never go back, but they’ve definitely got some things to fix. Hope this helps someone else!
