It snowed during my stay, and I understand that they were wanting to clear the snow from their parking lot, but calling me at 7:30AM and then getting frustrated with me because I couldn’t comprehend their request was honestly ridiculous. I was woken up at 7:30AM to move my car just for them to clear the parking lot of snow, mind you, the other half of the parking lot still had so much snow, and more vehicles were parked there. So why was I getting rudely woken up at 7:30AM? They also called me again because they said I didn’t sign all of the necessary paperwork at initial check-in; I’ve never stayed at a hotel that missed a document at check-in. Especially when there’s a security deposit required.
Also, breakfast at this place was terrible. The sausages were barely cooked, honestly cold/frozen most of the time. It was also super limited, so I got breakfast elsewhere.
Someone shoved quarters in the vending machines one night so you had to use card or tap-to-pay.
There was a couple of times where people would also just randomly knock on my room door in the middle of the night, also disturbing my stay.
The door to my room didn’t automatically close - had to pull it to shut and then force it open when entering.
Honestly would not book again with this company/brand even if I was short on funds. First and last time for me. It honestly wasn’t even worth what I did pay for it, but the reviews were reasonable enough when I was looking at where to book.
