I really appreciate the manager for making my check in experience very pleasant. When I mentioned a family friend will be checking in later, he arranged to have their room next to mine. The lobby and breakfast area are clean and tidy. The room can use updating, especially the carpet flooring, but everything was in good working order. There just was strong smell of garlic/chives in parking areas (right outside the room). The bath towels are surprisingly very plush and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The basic breakfast could have been better if the attendant in charge checked more often to make sure the items are restocked. The coffee really needs improvement as it barely tasted like coffee at all.

We felt check-in was hurried as if the staff had something better to do. The room was subpar: it was ice cold; the tile floor in front of the sink and in the bathroom was sticky; the tub had hair in it; there were no cups or items to make coffee; and the TV input had to be fixed (HDMI 2 switched to HDMI 1) for the TV to work.

The hotel is very conveniently located to Mammoth Cave and many other "things to do while you are here". There were plenty of places to eat and places to shop. I will stay here again if I were to visit this area in the future.
