I recently stayed at this hotel while traveling cross-country, and the experience was mixed at best. At check-in, the room condition was fair but clearly lacking upkeep, with dirty walls, cracked bathroom tiles, and dusty light fixtures. There was also a noticeable musty smell upon entering. Shortly after settling in, we found the water was cold, but staff responded quickly and adjusted the water heater. When we returned from dinner, the water was warm, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi tub—located next to the bed where our belongings were placed on the floor—had been leaking underneath. The carpet was soaked, and many of our belongings were wet. This made it seem the earlier musty smell may have been from ongoing moisture issues. Staff again responded quickly, moving us to another room and offering a dryer, but it was late and we had an 11-hour drive ahead, so drying clothes wasn’t realistic. The second room was slightly better but still had cosmetic issues and visible mold around the shower/tub. While staff was responsive, the overall condition and leak made this a stressful and disappointing stay.
