Just okay

It was fine, I just wished they would have let us check in early. They just kept saying the rooms weren’t clean yet…but there in no way that all 1000 rooms were dirty until 3. I know they don’t have to let us in early, but it was a horribly cold, rainy, and windy day and we wanted to be out of the weather.

The room was ok. There was a smell that we could not get away from. The room was not ready for our check in time. We were given blood stained covers. The pool was closed for maintenance in the middle of the day.

Okay stay

Guy at service desk was nice. The key cards that he gave us didn't work on any outside doors to fet into building, we took them back, he tried again and still didn't work. Luckily we finally found an outside door that wasn't locked and got in. Beds were comfortable. Kids running hallways in middle of rhe night making lots of noise kept us up. Breakfast was good and had plenty of options.

Won’t be returning

The hotel needs to enforce stricter rules. Too many kids running in the halls during night time and just being loud. These walls are TOO thin. I could hear outside my door easily. I heard the cleaners laughing and being loud while trying to sleep at 7am. But luckily each time I’ve been the front desk staff has been super amazing and helpful. Unfortunately won’t be staying here again though because it’s way too loud for my comfort. Kids literally are racing in the long halls

Could be better

There was a dirty piece of soap left in the bathroom with a hair on it when we arrived. The walls were very thin and other guests were very noisy including kids running up and down the halls, people yelling, and swearing. The tv did not work and the front desk sent 2 different guys to the room just to replace the cable so we could watch tv. They offered for us to change rooms but we were already settled for the night. I asked them to take some money off our bill for the inconvenience but that did not happen either. Overall not a great stay. I’m glad it was only 1 night.

I would recommend

We enjoyed our stay overall but since it was two adults and four children we chose to get the 3 beds with two rooms and for some odd reason they decided to put that room directly above the reception desk and over looking the entire lobby. The lobby is nice but you could hear the kids and us since we were over the reception and lobby and everything echoed. We had a couple complaints of course. The kids were just being kids, excited to be in a hotel room. So, it made us a little uncomfortable and we probably won’t go back unless they have another 3 bedroom away from the lobby. Another thing we had to go upstairs and that was a bit much for the kids and when we had got breakfast and bringing in bags. I didn’t see an elevator but there may have been one someone further from our room. However, the ladies at the front desk were nice and great service! We have stayed at a few hotels in Sandusky and I will say this was our best one yet as far as cleanliness.

Cheap, great service, and good for a couple days..

This is a great inexpensive place to stay especially if you want to save money and go somewhere like Cedar Point. Service was excellent and friendly during the early morning and late night shifts. However, sleeping on the bed was a little rough for me as it was more on the firm side. It wasn't the worse thing in the world but the Comfort Inn can do a little better to live up to there name. I would say the one nice thing about the room is that there is a mini fridge. But overall I would say my stay was good so if you where considering staying here for a couple days for Cedar Point I say go for it.
