The hotel was easy to check in. The staff were quick and polite. But the room itself wasn’t very clean. There was a used q-tip on the floor, as well as a paper clip, bottle cap, and a nail laying on the floor.

The beds were comfortable, it was an obviously dated property, but they have been doing a great job about trying to make upgrades. The pool area was very clean and my kids had a blast. The breakfast in the morning was a little bit weird, there wasn’t an option to be able to take it back to your room, which we did not like so we didn’t eat there. The front desk staff were amazing and so were the housekeepers.

Everyone working at the hotel was super nice and helpful. The rooms were clean. We were on the bottom level and it was super loud but that could have just been because of the room we were in. There's an equipment rental place next to us so all day it sounded like construction was going on.

Comfort, Kindness, and a Hot Breakfast!

We had a wonderful stay at Quality Inn Mount Vernon! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we realized we had forgotten our chargers, the front desk went above and beyond by lending us one that had been left behind—such a thoughtful touch! We were also upgraded to a suite due to a double booking, and it made our stay even more comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast—it exceeded our expectations! There were hot waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and plenty of other options to satisfy everyone in the family. Overall, a great experience with excellent service. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Crummy & loud w/ amenities out of order

Was in Mount Vernon for a 100-mile bike ride and booked this place for its hot tub, which was out of order. My room was next to the pool and was very loud, there was NO smoke alarm in the room (a fire code violation), and when we checked out one day early to find a better option, we were told they would not refund the third day. When we called on Monday to inquire about a refund, the front desk employee hung up on us twice. Still waiting to see if we will be refunded for the last day.

A disappointing stay.

We stayed 4 nights. We asked for housekeeping twice but never got any. The bathroom was so small I nearly felt claustrophobic. The wifi stunk! The folks in the breakfast area did a good job of keeping things stocked. The breakfast was good. I would not stay again.

It is an old style hotel in very good conditions. It has excellent refrigerator, beds, enough lights. They served excellent full breakfast. Our request for a quiet room was honored. It was nice, comfotable stay. However the water in the shower was barely warm in the evening & completely cold in the morning.

I liked the location - convient to stores and food, also clean facilities. Our room unfortuanetly looked like someone had rececently splilled Koolaid or wine on the carpet. The bathroom trim needs a refresh with the stain. Otherwise, it is fine, the room was clean.
