The room was clean and had what we needed. We could walk to some of downtown’s attractions and it was quick to get on the interstate. However, it was not the most comfortable I’ve been. The owners are doing their best to make this a nice place in a not-great part of town. There was a lot of road noise, plane noise overhead, and some people yelling on the sidewalks. I was a little nervous to leave my nice rental car in the lot, but no one ever tampered with it. If I needed to go back to Louisville, I would probably look in another part of town. But, if this is the location you need, then it is fine.

Check in was stressful and the receptionist was overwhelmed with the amount of people standing in line. Her child was behind the counter and she was speaking very loud and aggressive to that child. The room was clean but there are a lot of sounds through the pipes and noises. So much it wakes you up. The price was good compared to other surrounding hotels to the arena but one night stay is the max I would stay.

The location was excellent. The employees were nice but there were a number of things that were not great. The building has a lot of deferred maintenance making the place look run down. The room was fine, however there was leftover plate and napkin in one of the drawers and a used towel in the bottom of the armoire a thick layer of dust on top of it. On the last day of my stay someone was pressure washing the building and caused a bunch of water to come into my room. I notified the front desk and they said they would send housekeeping up when the pressure washing was done. I left and when I returned, the water was still there. When I called the front desk again they said housekeeping had left and offered to change my room or give me a mop. I did not want to change rooms because I was checking out the following morning. So, I cleaned it myself with towels. Not the best experience overall.
