If you need to go to bed early, don’t come here without earplugs. Or try staying in an even numbered room on the first floor. The hotel can’t do anything about this, but it’s on a well-traveled road AND close to train tracks, which were very busy the Sunday night I stayed. Train running and blaring at least until 10 PM, by which time, in my third floor room, I had dragged bedding into the sound-proof bathroom (very nice, spacious, up to date). First floor rooms probably get significantly less noise.
Muffled noise from other rooms is mildly annoying — thin walls, as other reviews have stated.
Check-in was very professional; the clerk was friendly and efficient. The room was neat and clean and very much up to date. Coffee maker, frig and microwave - check. Black-out shade - check. First time I’ve had to use the key card to keep the lights on, but what a good idea — saves energy. For safety, the bathroom light is independent. Note to bridesmaids, the mirror light is super bright.
Breakfast was fine and the clerk made a point of checking with all the guests.
