Staff all very friendly, room clean, but ice machine was out of order and some wall sockets are wired to lightswitches -phones failed to charge overnight because we turned a light off, which was a bit of a hassle! Walkable into town, Dollar store across the street for snacks etc., otherwise very typical older motel. If we ever have to return to Crescent City we'd stay again.

I was very satisfied with this location as a home base for exploring the redwoods. The room was clean with basic amenities like microwave and fridge. Staff were friendly and available. This part of town was a little run down but had restaurants, gas station, and basic shopping in walking distance.

As soon as we walked into our room there was a strong smell. Otherwise, the room and the facility is pretty good for the price that you pay. Room is clean and beds are comfortable. Hotel a little older but kept well. Nothing broken.
