The hotel could not charge the room to the Hotels.com card, so we spent over 30 minutes on the phone with your call center, who couldn't manage to contact the hotel, even though we were at the front desk and had the desk manger on the speaker call with us. Ultimately we simply had to cancel and refund the room though you and book through the hotel directly for a different rate.
This interaction does not inspire confidence in your service, and is not the first time it has happened.
