Absolutely Disappointing – A Nightmare Stay from Start to Finish
Our recent stay at this hotel was one of the most exhausting and disheartening experiences I’ve had as a traveler—and as a mother and grandmother, I expect a basic level of cleanliness, safety, and customer service, none of which were present here.
We traveled over nine hours to Southern California, arriving at 2 AM with three children under the age of five. I had alerted the hotel in advance of our late arrival, hoping for a smooth check-in. Instead, we were checked into a room that was completely unacceptable—there was something foreign on the walls, the door looked dirty, and there were visible blood spots on the toilet paper in the bathroom.
I immediately called the front desk and requested a room change. The second room was even worse: the bathroom shelf was literally off the hinges and the nightstand was broken. When I reported this, security had to get involved, and now well past 3 AM, we were moved again to a room on a lower floor—not what I paid for as I had booked a premium room. That room also had issues, leading us to yet another room, making it four rooms in total—each one worse than the last.
