The lobby, the floors, the rooms, everything so NOT inviting or warm. Areas are brightly lit, but there is absolutely nothing green or alive, other than people. There are these stick like things everywhere, but not a leaf, plant, or flora of any kind to speak of. It just feels cold and sterile.
The people that work there were polite and helpful. This made it a little more acceptable, but sadly the place was still drab and boring. The amenities were helpful and distracting.
The bed was sunken and mushy. To soft for comfort. Think of a king size bed that husband and wife owned for 25 years without ever changing it. Bed just felt old and not very comfortable at all. Did i mention there is no character in the room, not even a cactus? I mean, One plant, even if it was plastic would make a huge difference. You could still maintain a professional hotel with a little flora or plant life. The price was right, but that's all.
Sad, for a Hilton. Seriously.
