Room was comfortable, with everything we needed for the night. Definitely typically small hotel room for Japan. Water pressure was 10/10. Buffet breakfast in the attached restaurant was great. There were set menu items you could order and a buffet of other things. It’s Japan, so those traveling from the west should know it’s not going to be “breakfast” as you imagine it. The food was delicious.

Strange shower.

Hotel was convenient and check in and out was easy. I think the room was smaller than normal even for the area. The shower did not allow me to stand up to shower. And I am about 6 ft tall. May be due to some kind of equipment for elevator.

It is known that the rooms in Apa hotels and most in Japan are very small, it is a bit surprising when you are not used to that. But in every other aspect, perfect hotel if you want to stay close to that area.

Location is really nice, walking distance to Shinjuku station. But since it is in the Kabukicho are, it’s noisy in midnight, especially if you live in the lower floor. (We stayed at the 3rd floor)

I'd have to say that this is not the most desirable location to stay at - Shinjuku on the 'east side' of the tracks is a bit 'seedy'......red light type district. However, the room and place was fine. The breakfast was excellent and they make you omelets/ fried eggs - even pancakes! Only one elevator which was a bit congested, but overall a good place for the mid level mkt.
