When I arrived and checked in, I was given a room that Idid not reserve. When I went to the desk to tell the person that I was given the wrong room, I was told they had no way of knowing what room I had purchased. I had to prove it on my receipt before she would change the room to the one I had reserved online. The room was fine but the entire check-in process was ridiculous. We had been on a road trip for 3 weeks and never experienced a desk clerk not knowing which room I booked. A maid knocked on our door early the next morning, although we hadn’t checked out. She woke my husband, who was already upset about the place. We have stayed at Days Inn before and never experienced this.
