Worse hotel ever . Staff was amazing super helpful and nice . Hotel dirty, smelly. Definitely not a great place. Its more like a bad apartment complex with ghettos people. Would definitely not recommend for tourists

There were things left in the room. Roaches in the bathroom. Staff was great after our misunderstanding. I don’t know about breakfast because I didn’t go. I expected the rooms to be in better shape but they were very run down and not sanitary.

Danny has gone above and beyond with customer service. As far as the General Manager he made my stay a lil inconvenient. He took my payment for the room at 1:30 pm and I left to pick up my children.

Found hair and a used bandage on bathtub. Toilet would not flush. Lamp had spliced cord and only one prong on cord. TV didn't work. Bed was fairly comfortable and AC did work even if somewhat noisily.

The staff members were helpful and the room was clean. I would stay here again. The sink light would turn off after about 10 minutes. The last day there were no waffles available to make but at least there were other options available.

When my husband arrived they assigned a room to us that they could not open the door on. Then they moved us to a room with no shower head . Then twice they put us into rooms that the beds had been used. Finally they got us in a room. The staff was friendly through the whole ordeal

Did not spend the night. Grandkids have asthma and all the rooms spelled pet friendly a lot. When we were trying to see first two rooms a guy was trying to sell us electronics from his room. Second rooms were up the old stairs and out very week balcony. Kids do not belong there. Other customers in line had no towels or bedding.

The property was 10/15 minutes away from the Lubbock Airport. The area was safe, there was a walmart, burger King and Dutch bros across the street. The only issues that made me give 3 stars is the inside of my door was missing a cover and the mechanism for the door was exposed, i just didn't feel safe. I didn't want to change rooms because i had already done so when the first room was not ready.

Poorly maintained. Strong smoke odor in nonsmoking room. Stained carpets. Powder carpet cleaner (maybe?) on carpet. Stained counters, sinks, and tub. People walking around outside. Overall, sketchy impression. Front desk was attentive at check in. Remained courteous and offered options but was willing to provide refund without issue. Hotel name listed as Wyndm but map said La Quinta.

I paid $40 per night for a room at the Baymont Inn by Wyndham. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well...but that is about the only positive thing I can say.
Here were the problems with my room:
1. The room lighting is too dim.
2. The door had a replacement lock, a blocked peephole and no deadbolt. It had obviously been kicked in before.
3. The tub could not be used. Only the shower worked.
4. The water was not hot enough.
5. The toilet ran constantly and made a leaking noise.
6. The undermount sink came loose and fell one inch beneath the vanity. Needs fixing or replacement.
7. There were no hangers in the closet.
8. There was no trash can in the room.
9. There were no tissues in the room.
10. The closet door needs repair.
11. There was no iron in the room.
12. The TV did not work.
13. The TV remote had no batteries and was unusable.
14. The continental breakfast was sparce. The breakfast area was not inviting. I went for breakfast elsewhere.
15. The parking lot needs to be repaved.
16. The area seems unsecure, especially at night, but it was quiet outside of my room.
17. The place seems poor and rundown. It needs a facelift...BADLY.
18. I had to have a new room key each 24-hour period of my stay. Inconvenient!
The office staff were nice / helpful. The above problems were NOT their fault. I am left to wonder if Wyndham Hotels/Baymont is aware of the problems of this facility. It is NOT UP TO BAYMONT STANDARDS.
At $40 per night, I suppose to receive what you pay for!

This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen. We walked into our room and literally walked right out. I will never use Baymont ever again.

The hotel in the pictures and the hotel we arrived at are not the same hotel. This is the hotel where Lubbock houses their homeless population. It is nasty and filthy, do not stay here. In addition, our daughter was car jacked in the parking lot, it is not a safe place to stay. Additionally, after we saw the hotel we went to their website and a room costs $49.00 a night, way less than hotels.com charged me. Whatever you do, do not stay here! It is dangerous.

Not worth it. Absolutely filthy hotel. Instead of staying we decided to travel 4 hours back home then to stay the night there. Sketchy people at night. I suggest if you’re a woman do not stay here or walk around the hotel alone. There we guest on the stairwell openly doing drugs.

Run down! Broken doors, non working lights, stunk like weed. Torn carpet and dirty dirty dirty. Lots of homeless in the area. Long term tenets that allow their children to run the parking lot and balconies outside the room doors.

This is a hotel for drug addicts and prostitution. When I say filthy, that’s what I mean. Holes in the walls, very Smokey smell, super dirty. There was no way I was staying here. When I opened the door the beds were unmade and stains all over them and the pillows were just as dirty. I took a picture

I couldnt even stay. We were given one room and the door handle was broken. The second room had no hot water and the mattresses were filthy. There were kids (young kids) running around the property cussing and being very loud. We returned the key and left. Don't trust the pictures, I would not recommend anyone staying at this hotel.

As soon as we walked in the room smelled horrible, you could tell the floor wasn’t vacuumed, there was a bunch of trash on the floor. We didn’t even bother speaking to the manager as we figured all the other rooms would be the same. We didn’t even bother staying and ended up staying somewhere else. Nothing like the pics on the website.

Absolutely DISGUSTING. This hotel should be condemned. The first room had blood stains on the comforter, what looked like bullet holes in the wall, and the carpet was so torn up you could see the concrete underneath. The key card wiring was literally hanging out of the door.
They switched our room and apologized, but the second room was no better. It smelled like cigarettes and car oil, and once again the key card system was hanging off the back of the door. This place is NOT livable. Horrible doesn’t even begin to describe it.
DO NOT STAY HERE. Save your money and your safety.
