Great site, good staff, cheap on amenities ... oay for water in the room, pay for power adapter for the room. Not extravagant costs so even more annoying that basics weren't provided. Add $2 to each days stay and save customer from having to leave the room to buy water!

The property is very good for relaxation. If you want touristy vibe, night life and activities to do within walking distance stay on the Dutch side. There is nothing close by the hotel besides a grocery store, pizza restaurant by the way it was really good and a laundry mat. They do offer transportation however it can get very pricey depending how often you leave the property. They only accept euros and speak 100% French with some English. Dutch side is English speaking. If you stay on the French side you will also need to purchase a phone adapter to use as their outlets are like the outlets in Europe. The Dutch side has American outlets.

Absolutely beautiful property and room. The shower was modern and huge. The staff were kind and friendly even though my French was limited. The grounds and pool areas were superb, breathtaking and filled with unique sculptures. I enjoyed relaxing in a hammock on the beach. Loved every minute there. I am planning to to stay there again.

On-site, there are many and high additional costs, some of which are not understandable. 150 euros for kitchen utensils per week, for example... The food on-site is very expensive and of average quality. The staff is mostly not very helpful and complains about having too much work in front of the guests. The hotel does not have a beach! We spent an extended period on the island (both sides) - this hotel was by far the worst experience. The cockroach in the bathroom was still "manageable" but unexpected in a relatively expensive hotel. Room cleaning only on request.
