Good choice of fruit and cereals, also the cooked breakfast was just right and very hot out the kitchen. Nice to have a little lounge area and self service mini bar. Wonderful building with charming, comfortable and quiet rooms - you can see why The Cross is a very popular place to stay. The host was extremely helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. This is an excellent b&b in beautifully converted ancient buildings very close to Wells. It's an excellent base for exploring Wells/Frome/Glastonbury/Cheddar, all within just a few miles. The accommodation is modern and comfortable, the village is quiet and the breakfasts are fantastic. Terri and Julie take great care of their guests: we loved our stay.
