What an unexpected gem! We recently stayed at Inside the Wall and would absolutely recommend this to anyone travelling to Lucca. We received welcome messages prior to our arrival. Our hostess met us on arrival and the room was both beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. We had a small issue with the AC, but this was immediately rectified with above and beyond service. This was definitely one of the highlights of our recent trip and we sincerely hope we'll have the opportunity to return one day.

Location, location, location! Just inside the Santa Maria gate. The owners have taken a small space and made it everything you need. Outer and inner doors have codes, so no messing with keys. Staff was very helpful. Had restaurant suggestions at front desk. Great beds and pillows.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was very stylish and functional. Communication was good and check-in was easy. One small complaint, not the fault of property, is that it is situated next to a bakery which starts working very early. Probably not an issue with all suites.
