Staff was nice.

Staff was very nice. Room was a little outdated and the bed spreads had some holes in them, but other than that it was cozy. We didn’t have a shower curtain in the bathroom, but we made do.

We had to kill 3 roaches when we first walked in and the carpet was gross. There also was a stain on the sheets. We left within 10 minutes knowing we could not sleep in that room.

Mediocre service

My Room was ok. I kept it pretty clean since I worked nights their cleaning personnel was gone so in the 3 weeks I stayed they only cleaned it once. I had 3 coworkers staying in the same hotel each in a separate room. They had to leave because of Bed Bugs which is totally unacceptable in a hotel business. I didn’t experience that situation in my room but the other guys did. One has to miss work because they bite him in the eye lid and it was so red and shut that he couldn’t go to work. They need to work very hard in this terrible problem. The guy from reception wasn’t too friendly either. Asked him if he could do a better pice for me and he said NO!! if you don’t like it you can leave and look for something else. He could of been a bit more amicable about it. Overall I wouldn’t stay there anymore.

Well this hotel is NOT close to Baton Rouge like I thought, but the room itself was OK. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bring your own soap and shampoo though as theirs was lacking. Price was right for a last minute everything else sold out situation
