Decent enough hostel. The bathroom in my area was very small. Larger people would have trouble showering. The person at the reception was not particularly helpful. He didn’t know where local laundromats were located, not that there are many in Prague anyway. Location was central and a very short distance from tram lines and two subway lines. Wencelas Square was a five minute walk.

Prague week trip

Excellent central location, within easy walk of both the old and new town. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, bars in the immediate area. Rooms were spacious, regularly cleaned and airy. Useful kitchen for cooking/eating. Only -ve is that if you have a bed by the window the street noise from the trams can be disturbing, but not overly excessive.

Ok overall. Potentials for improvement though

Knowing it is a hostel, it’s fine. However there should be either more bathrooms/shower rooms or fewer beds. There was one shower and one bathroom for 12 people, including the private room. Also, the soap in the bathroom was always empty so we would need to go to the shower (or the kitchen) to was our hands. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a cash deposit for the stay (which is fine) that is returned upon checkout and also a deposit for borrowing towels (which was not asked of me at all).

It was a great experience for £10 a night toilets shower kitchen lockers with key pub downstairs friendly cheap bear 2 pints £2.25 krona trains and transport outside 10 minutes walk to the xmas market and old town loads of cheap places to eat all within 5 minutes walking distance a kebab and pizza 🍕 shop directly outside not more really you could ask for
