Me and my boyfriend arrived an hour early to the hotel to drop our stuff off. When we arrived they said they had a room available for us and they would change the room type from a double bed to a king, we would just have to wait 15 minutes. We gladly accepted and once we got to the room it was completely dirty and the last guests were disgusting as we found blood on towels around the room. We we went downstairs to alert the front desk the shent we were worling with kust said, "oh really?" No apology or anything. He then told us that a clean room would be ready in 10 minutes after 25 minutes if waiting I asked again and he said it would be another 25 minutes. I understand that accidents occur, however if the agent would have told us how lokg it would take we could've just dropped our stuff off and went about our day as we originally planned. However we had to wait for over an hour to finally get a clean room. When i confronted the manager about the wait time, I simply said that no apology was given from any of the staff. He proceded to say, "Ok, but we gave you a free upgrade". We did not ask for the upgrade, it was given to us before we had to wait. Would have raref the front desk 2/5 if it wasnt for one employee who was very nice and understanding.
