Great little stay at Element Denver. Love the open, light, bright, airy, spacious, clean atmosphere of this hotel. Modern, welcoming decor. Welcoming staff, as well. Room was compact and well organized and had everything I needed, nothing I didn’t. The room included an awesome little kitchen area which included microwave, little fridge, toaster, coffee maker, sink, and separate filtered water, dinnerware, even dish soap, sponge, paper towel. A delight.
There is limited dining BUT the complimentary breakfast is amazing! Loved bartender, Maggie, though bar area is a little sterile and dark. Not an issue really.
The location is very close to the Denver Art Museum and Cherry Creek which has a bike path that is great. There’s not a lot of nearby dining or interesting shops compared to, say, further into downtown Denver e.g. Larimer Square; the area is more filled with buildings. Also, I felt a little nervous at night when on foot in the area, and the parking garage entrance was in a dark back alley and required getting out of the car to access room key pad to open door…a little scary.
The hotel is newer, and curiously the bathroom sink cold water was not hooked up in my first room, plus tile in drain area did not have finish work completed. Small matter but I was moved to a new room, which was missing a bit of the furniture the first room had. (Is it me?)
On the whole this was a comfortable, great stay and I would return.
