Nice property. A little distance from the main downtown, but the Inn supplied umbrellas so we could walk and stay dry. Nice restaurants in proximity !

Loved our stay here. The hot tub area is very clean and temp is 100-104. Only complaint I have is no mini frig or coffee maker. . Staff was very friendly and complimentary breakfast was plenty.

8/10 Very good

All was great except for the breakfast. The staff puffed up the idea of the breakfast they provided. All of the food that they did provide could be easily ate from a convenience store.

8/10 Very good

Our room was well decorated and spacious. The TV was tiny by comparison. It was a bit noisy as it was directly above the reception area. The location was great being within a short walk of the port. The Victorian paint job on the hotel was impressive with 6 different colors represented. Sitting out on the front porch was delightful. Overall the hotel was nice but not really worth the nearly $500 night price tag. The “pool” was really an oversized hot tub accommodating up to 12-15 people. It was well maintained and the temperature was great being around an estimated 102 degrees F.

We booked the premium lake front room, double queen, on the 4th floor. The view was spectacular. The room was very spacious, clean, and historically decorated. The hotel is only a five minute walk to downtown shopping and restaurants. The complimentary continental breakfast was very good. Of note, there is no refrigerator, coffee maker, or microwave in the room. We have stayed at many hotels on the island over the past 28 years, and I would rate this as one of the nicer ones. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

Our overall experience at the Inn was excellent! Room was very nice, the building and especially the wraparound porch was wonderful. The waterfall hot tub was an unexpected, beautiful and relaxing experience after a day of hiking, sightseeing and shopping! We will definitely recommend the Inn on Mackinac to our friends and family! Thank you!

Loved it here! Beautiful and clean hotel. Our room was nice and had a view of the lake. Breakfast was nice and there was plenty of seating. We liked how we could sightsee for awhile and then go back to the hotel when needed because of its great location. The porch on the second floor was nice to sit and relax and watch the horses go by. We did not use the hot tub, but it looked very inviting. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed our two night stay very much. Our room was attractive and very comfortable. We liked the area on the porch to eat, read or watch the bikes and carriages pass by. Included breakfast was light but tasty and satisfying. The spa/hot tub was relaxing. I didn’t bring a blow dryer because hotels typically have them, however this one did not. Perhaps the front desk would have had the be had I asked but I managed without one. July is a very busy time on the island but even the short distance to the Inn offered a quieter place to relax and chill before going back out to explore. The staff was kind and we were surprised at the reasonably priced slice of dark chocolate fudge sold at the little coffee shop area. It is made in-house and is creamy— not overly sweet. My husband said it was his favorite fudge ever. We love Inn on Mackinaw.

Loved everything! Our bags were brought straight to our room without any effort other than letting the ferry staff know where we were going. Check in was simple. The entire Inn was very nice and clean, room temp was easy to regulate. A light breakfast is there every morning which was great for a quick bite. Blankets on the bedding are not fluffy so if you want fluffier bedding, bring a blanket. However, the beds were comfy- not too soft or firm! Perfect location- just outside of the crazy downtown area but not far enough where you need a taxi. Only hill you deal with is the one you park your bike which is nothing! I am 6 months pregnant with 2 kids and we did not need a taxi the entire time for our 2 day trip. We did carriage tours to explore the interior (hilly part) of the island and rode our bikes elsewhere the entire time. We were able to easily access everything while having the ability to be outside the business. We will for sure be returning!

The Inn is on the main road but about a quarter mile from town but close enough to enjoy it. They have fudge and a good coffee shop in the lobby. Our turret room was nice and had lots of windows. Their is a nice heated pool with a waterfall out back. Their is also a sitting balcony overlooking the street on the second floor and a little sitting area right off the main street. My only two minor complaints are the Wi-Fi is spotty and the breakfast lacks protein like scrambled eggs and sausage. You have protein yogurt and boiled eggs but I would appreciate these things, especially for the price you pay.

Entire Inn was clean and well taken care of. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The porter was exceptional. He went beyond his duties as a Porter. The continental breakfast was “on point”. Plenty of treats for everyone. And staff kept it supplied until service was complete for the day. A big plus for my wife was the espresso bar in the front lobby. Good price with great flavor. We will definitely be returning to this facility.

This was our third time staying at the Inn on Mackinac Island. The staff were great. Our rooms were very nice and clean - very important. The bed wasn't as soft as we are used to, but it was fine. The free breakfast was continental-style. On previous stays, they had a Belgian waffle maker. I missed that. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fruit were always available, and sometime during the day they have great chocolate chip cookies available. The hot tub is very roomie and a good temperature. We especially love the location. It is just down from the fort away from the main busyness of the shops and ferry docks but close enough to walk there. We also love the porch for sitting outside to read and watch the horse-drawn carriages and bikes go by.
