The room was spacious and attractive. The hotel overall is very well cared for and the staff seem to be very happy to work there - they are extremely helpful and friendly. The highlight of our stay was the truly delicious dinner we enjoyed - a very memorable, high-quality meal. The heating in our room was domestic style radiators and it was tricky to get the room temperature right, this was a minor detail.

Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area.

Fischers Baslow Hall is a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. The staff are excellent, helpful and incredibly professional. I would highly recommend staying here. The restaurant is not open on Monday and Tuesday. However, there are plenty of places to eat in Baslow, which is about a twenty-minute walk.

We experienced warm, friendly and efficient service from the moment of our arrival and throughout our stay. The attention to detail was impressive.
