The Monteleone is okay, but I was surprised at a few things, starting with the check-in process, which went way too long and required three people. Why three pairs of furrowed brows? I had made my reservation through a “third party”, in this case hotels.com. After we got through the comedy-drama of check-in the staff I dealt with was great.
While the gym could use some attention - only one channel allowed on the one TV, and a busted machine with no promise of repair - every other part of the hotel I accessed was fine. My room was clean well stocked, thanks to housekeeping supervisor Alecia and my cleaner Cathy.
