Really wonderful stay in an 8 bed female dorm at The Code. Room was clean, lockers for belongings are large and easy to access. Common area bathrooms were very clean and never crowded. The cafe is great and you can't beat the location to everything in city center. Highly recommend and will likely stay here again.

Loved all the thoughtful care given to leaving luggage before checkin and after checkout. The communal bathroom was spotless. The location was unmatched (bonus concert in St. Giles right across the street). Fun work space. Funky but very clean and comfortable “cell” with towels and flip flops. Breakfast was wonderful! It was a perfect place for us. Would return in a heartbeat!

We were in a private superior double bed room on the fourth floor for five days. Unfortunately, the elevator only went to the third floor, but staff were very helpful getting our luggage to the room. The room is kinda small for two people with a lot of luggage. The bathroom shower was awesome! There was limited housekeeping and had to be requested. Clean towels and coffee pods ran out after the third day but after requesting more, they were delivered. The bar and dining area were nice. The menu was limited, but there are so many wonderful restaurants nearby to satisfy dining expectations! Bella Italia was a wonderful option.

This is the best hostel I have ever been to (so far) without a doubt! The location is fantastic and you can easily walk around to see all the main atractions in the city. The staff is amazing and very helpful, I had problems with my internet when arrived and Emily and Cat were super kind to help me fix it. They also organize events like beer and cider tasting, so you can meet new people that are staying there, and have a walking tour daily, on my day Lydia walked us around and told us funny things about the city and replied all my doubts. The whole hostel is very clean and organized, have music playing in every common area (even bathroom!), the pods are super confortable and very private. An amazing experience in a lovely city, hope to go back soon!

My stay here was great! The pods were clean and having a locker and peg was so helpful. There was also luggage storage which I used and the bathrooms were lovely and clean. The pod was a bit hot but I could borrow a fan so that helped a lot. I had porridge and a hot chocolate for breakfast, both of which were delicious! I didn’t make use of any of the activities, but there seemed to be plenty of options for solo travellers. Very near the train station (you’ll need to walk up a hill/steps) and the castle. I really enjoyed my stay here, thank you!!
