My wife and I booked here to see a concert at turning stone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! From the attentive and friendly staff, the absolute top notch cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The queen bed is very comfortable! The grounds and history of the building are an added bonus. We will definitely return.

We love the mansion house and try to stay there anytime we’re in town. The Foundation is doing an amazing job keeping up the history while updating rooms and services. It’s a community treasure for sure!

Serenity now

I’ve stayed here before with my wife on a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the history of the house and area. I stayed here this trip on my way to a meeting in Syracuse. The house and grounds are very peaceful.

Great stay in historic mansion

Great stay at the Mansion House. Our room was absolutely beautiful and so clean and spacious. The mattress was a little too soft for my personal taste but my husband loved it. The continental breakfast the next morning was tasty, with nice breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, greek yogurt, coffee and juice.
Jolene, 1-night trip

Quirky place where I would stay again.

What a unique and historical place to stay! Far more interesting than a bland chain hotel. It’s definitely quirky so perhaps not to everyone’s preference. Large rooms and bathrooms, clean, books and bookshelves all over. Friendly staff. I’d stay again.
Michael, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Fantastic value. Breakfast baked goods were outstanding. It’s in an old mansion so not your typical chain hotel stay. I am a history lover so take that into account. Very nice people.
John, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Historic and cool. Gave you a complimentary book on the history of property.
Robert, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Unique. Not the same boring rooms/environment as a traditional hotel.
Mary Beth, 1-night trip

Living history!

If you are only interested in a bed for the night, go elsewhere. If you love history, this is a must stay. Clean and charming. Very old and shows it in some places.
Greg, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Mansion under renovations

It’s an interesting place to tour based in the history of this weird utopian community that once dwelled here. The hotel sleeping rooms are ok and fairly comfortable but much of the place seems under renovations. There were spiders in our bathroom. Bed was comfortable . Staff is polite and they serve an adequate breakfast.
Mary Sue, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Convenient to where we were going (Turning Stone). Beautiful gardens, historical building. Needs new beds!!!! Could not close blinds in bathroom due to being short. Need to lower. Did have coffee and mini fridge in room which was nice.
Michelle, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Continental breakfast, that was included, was really offensive. There even were no options of milk, just half & half The administration of hotel should take a close look at this important part of the service!
