The property was not up to normal La Quinta standards. The bathroom light was missing, the walls had obvious chips and poorly patched cracks. The dust level in the room was excessive. The shampoo and soap situation was tolerable, but not ideal. The "breakfast area" was poorly manned. Very run down. Pet friendly and the staff was friendly. But the room was a mess. There was plaster dust all over the floor and weirdly, globs of plaster splatter on the curtains too. No trashcan inside the room. A razor blade literally in the doorway as we and our dogs walked in. Didn’t feel very safe. We got in late so we didn’t have the energy to do anything about it. Just glad there weren’t bed bugs. Appears to be a long term living situation for many hotel guests.

Room somewhat clean, was in middle of reno, staff was doing the best they could w what they had. Soo many rooms to reno and it seems it may have been used for an apartment complex. They had rooms w a dog tied up outside. No handicap anything. Pets seemed the least of their worries. Breakfast was an overall joke....all machines were broke but toaster, no choices, and even tho there was a desk person and its in lobby, they werent mKing people behave like adults it was just overall off putting. We left as soon as we could. Again tho the staff wS teying for the most part. After we switched out the first room, I knew i should have just left...my bad.
