Upon arrival at 6:00 pm we were informed that the hotels air conditioning was out and we had been moved to a neighboring Hampton Inn. No attempt was made to contact us in advance, nor were any concessions offered.
We declined this offer as we were not going to pay the same rate for a Hampton inn with minimal amenities.
I am still working with hotels.com to try to get my money refunded because it was a non-refundable rate.
The management of this hotel left a desk clerk with no ability to actually “fix” this issue for guests and was unreachable.
The “Curio” designation should not be given to this hotel.
