I absolutely loved staying here! Especially being able to use the onsen every night after a long day of exploring the city. I loved the street with all the amazing restaurants surrounded by locals. It was so much better then the main suburbs people go to. It was an amazing experience which is why I stayed there twice and I will definitely book it again next year.

Loved the modernity of this hotel and its embrace of technology! I checked in without having to speak to anyone. Did it simply by going to a kiosk in the lobby. Loved that right around the corner from the hotel are several places to eat!! Food spots everywhere with GOOD FOOD!! Also short walk to the metro station. Hotel is a bit far from central Tokyo (Shubuya Crossing etc) but it's close to the metro so that made it easier to get around. The room is VERY SMALL but for the price, amenities and location, IT'S WORTH IT! I also loved that I could mirror my phone to the TV in the room and watch content from my phone on the tv. I would def stay here again. Great value

Very nice hotel with very helpful staff. The pool is not included however you have to pay for each hour you swim in the pool. We picked this hotel for the pool, so we were very disappointed to see that using the pool was extra.

Booked hotel due to closeness to Kokugikan for Sept. Sumo Basho. Room was very small with no closet. Only hooks on walls. Only two elevators for floors 1-17 and two for floors above 17, with about 50 rooms per floor. Busiest week due to Sumo and they shut down elevators for maintenance. Hotel nickel and dimes you for everything. Cost you to swim in the pool or to have them call a cab for you. Had to do laundry at 3 AM just to find open machines. Housekeeping was good and changed towels daily. Lawson's on 2nd floor was good for food/drinks at all hours. Easy walk to train station.

An excellent value hotel. This is the perfect stay for people who spend the bulk of their time outside the room, as the room is rather small for extended lounging. The location is a very brief walk from the station which is excellent, but it’s tucked away so that it doesn’t feel super busy despite its size and convenient location. The room was clean and the services all worked effectively as described. Check out was super easy, just drop your keys in the checkout kiosk and you’re done!

Room is pretty small just queen size bed a piece of wood like desk, washroom for a skinny person if you seat on the toilet knees touch the wall, short story pretty basic and check out 10am every extra hour 20dlls

Good to frustrating

The hotel is looks nice and stylish. The main problem is the lifts, they can be a nightmare. Regularly having to wait 10-15 minutes, or longer at busy times. Unable to use the stairs at all even for 1 floor hops is just plain annoying. Enjoyed the onsen a lot, really beneficial and relaxing. The bathroom was tiny, I was regularly frustrated being 6ft and trying to manoeuvre in a confined and crowded cube! Staff are really helpful and friendly. Avoid checking in at 3 as there was a lengthy queue everyday.

Hotel was nice but halls had no AC and elevators have to go all the way up or the way down and when push the button it will only signal 1 elevator even if others pass by will not stop on floor which can make for long waits especially around check out time

I enjoyed my stay here and actually stayed at other APA Hotels and this was one of the better ones. While the area is not in a lively part of Tokyo, I enjoyed the peacefulness here more than staying at a more lively Shinjuku hotel. There was a river view from my window which was nice, and it's also just a bus ride away from Tokyo tower/ a nice mall. There was the amenity of the pool and also gym, and plenty of elevator banks. Staff doesn't engage with you too much, but will help you as needed. One gentleman came out form the desk and helped point out where the microwave was, which is downstairs after opening the laundry room door. So, note that location. Please note that there are not alot of food options or bars nearby the hotel. But, you can at least find a bite and two 7-11's are in walking distance. I would definitely book here again for a quieter stay amidst the fun chaos of Tokyo.
