EXTREMELY LACKLUSTER!
The hotel was in a good location, and that was about it! I was given a handicap accessible room, which I DID NOT book, months in advance! When I let the desk clerk know that, she then said "well, thats all we have left!" Unacceptable, especially since I booked 2 rooms for 7 days for vacation(which the prices were astronomical for this place) The manager was notified, and my room was changed. The hot water pressure in the room was nonexistent, had to wash my hands in the bathtub! The pillows were as flat as used tea bags and the mattress cover was very flat! There were lint balls all over the sheets, making it feel like something was crawling on you. The staff at the free breakfast in the morning was very rude and wiping and cleaning right where I was standing tryimh to make my breakfast. Even commented that she was tryinh to leave early and didnt want to be bothered. As if I was holding her up from cleaning the area. My credit card was charged THREE different times, on different days for absolutely no reason. When I requested to speak to a manager, I left my information at the front desk for the manager. The clerk called tmy room and told me the manager basically summoned be back to the front desk to talk to her instead of talking to me on the phone. I will never again in life stay at this location in Sumter, SC!
There were also renovations going on all day and night, which made it very noisy and the fumes were unbearable!
