Lovely owners, great place under the stars. The carriage was a bit to amall for my tall husband, but the owner fixed it by giving us another place to sleep. There we slept very well. Good breakfast. Back to basic in a very good way.

My brother and me had a fabulous stay in the traditional hogan. We enjoyed the afternoon views on marble canyon area while doing a sunset hike and in the morning I enjoyed the sunrise in winter. Great hosts and can only recommend.

What in the Oregon Trail! Ha, what an experience! I was a solo traveler, staying in the sheep's wagon, and I must say, 10/10 experience! I felt safe, the shared bathroom areas were clean, functional, and comfortable, and my accommodation in the wagon was veryyyy comfortable + spacious. The hosts even offered to have a traditional Navajo dinner prepared and delivered to the Reservation which was convenient. Please do not hesitate booking - this was a beautiful experience being amongst nature, simplicity and beauty.

Awesome Glamping Experience….. Hosts and property were very accommodating…. If solitude, comfort and remoteness (Though it’s only 15 minutes from Page) … this will certainly fit the bill !!! 👍

It was a cute private little room with a real fire place amazing view, made us feel like we were out in middle of nowhere even though we were only 15 mins from town. A great accommodation experience for those looking for a rustic romantic different experience accommodation. I would highly recommended this place for the ones seeking a quite off the grid get away.

Star gazing amazing

Our travel to this one of kind place was more than we hoped for. The owners were very kind and accommodating. We highly recommend staying here. The stargazing is perfect and the sunrise over ridge-line was unforgettable.

We really enjoyed our time at Shash Dine' EcoRetreat! The grounds are beautiful and incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The amenities were excellent - we especially loved cozying up by the fireplace and enjoying the delicious breakfast in the morning. Both the shower facilities and our accommodation were spotlessly clean. The tent we stayed in was beautifully decorated, thoughtfully furnished, and came with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedding was warm and cozy, keeping us comfortable throughout the night. Highly recommended!

This is a place we feel like coming back! Cozy, great service, delicious anc healthy breakfast with cowboy coffee and Navajo tea! This place is a perfect connection between nature and coziness. We love the approach to set facilities in the middle of nature respecting every single creature that lives there, and keeping them away from facilities with natural and sustainable measures!!! We loved this place!!!

8/10 Very good

My family stayed in the traditional Hogan built by our host Baya's grandparents. It felt special and something to be respected. Initially, I was concerned that the wood-burning stove would not keep us warm enough to combat the chilly night temp, but it kept us plenty warm and cozy! We enjoyed the solitude of nature and took in the natural beauty of the environment.

No other way to experience Page…

Wonderful experience. Very humble and grateful for a cultural immersion that dates back in history for Indigineous families in this country. Thank you Baya for straight to the truth hospitality and guidance. Also, left in LOVE with the ranch dogs.

4/10 Fair

PROS: Place was nice & clean, amenities were good, comfy bed. CONS: couple owner were not as friendly & very strict with the rules. Written in check-in agreement “Failure to comply may result in loss of $500 deposit”. Wants specific time & early check-in for their convenience. We missed an itinerary to beat the check-in time.

My family of 4 (adults) loved this Navajo experience! Paul and Baya were amazing hosts sharing traditional Navajo teachings/stories regarding the land and the Hogan where we stayed. The land around the glamp was breathtaking-a short hike to the top of the hill was a perfect spot to watch the sun rise and set. Although the night skies were incredible, it was too cold for us to stay out too long-the cozy space and warm fire in the hogan drew us back inside. It was such a meaningful experience for us - thank you, Baya and Paul for sharing with us!

Off the beaten path

We really enjoyed being off the beaten path. Our particular night was extremely windy, so unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy a fire or sit outside and enjoy all the beautiful stars for too long. It’s all solar paneled and eco friendly, very minimalist stay which was nice. The host was very welcoming. Beds were really comfortable as well. A blanket or chair outside the tent would be very nice to be able to enjoy the deck while viewing the stars. Port-a-potty’s were the cleanest ones I’ve ever seen, shower was also very clean despite being communal.

8/10 Very good

Stayed for one night and it was great! Beautiful views, comfortable bed and everything was clean. Rating only 4 stars because the ad says there is a bbq for cooking but when we arrived, there was no bbq. They said they had to remove it but we were never informed beforehand and the ad still said bbq available. This was inconvenient and misleading b/c we had planned on using it for cooking dinner. Other then this, everything was great.
