I discovered that bathing products didn't be renewed, one-third of conditioner is being used and left with some white dried conditioner. Disgusting dirt was unclened around the garbage bin in washroom. Floor near bathroom got moudly. I couldn't expect these happened in a 5 star hotel. Hotel do need to be reconditioned, obsolete impression. Other than that, view of acropolis was great, staff were nice, breakfast buffet tasted average

Achei que a limpeza deixou um pouco a desejar. Muito pó no quarto. Fui pedir uma limpeza mais caprichada e o recepcionista ficou bravo e disse que eu teria que ter avisado quando fiz a reserva.

We had a short stay at the end of 2 weeks in Greece and Coco-Mat Athens BC was perfect. Wonderful, friendly service at every step — from the person at the door to reception to the people who made and served an outstanding breakfast. They even accommodated a 4 a.m. departure for the airport with a packed breakfast to go. The room was a little on the small side but the space was used efficiently, and we liked the layout that included separate vestibules for the toilet and shower. Also, a great location — close to the Parthenon and the museum, and to dozens of shops, bars and restaurants.

We had a very brief (one night) layover in Athens and stayed at the Coco-Mat. The hotel is beautiful. The staff is very friendly. The amenities are wonderful and the location is excellent. Practically at the foot of the acropolis in the heart of Athens. The areas surrounding the hotel has many cafés and shops and everything is an easy walk from the hotel. Wish we could’ve stayed here longer!

Location couldn’t be better. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is tasteful and offers big variety of options. Filtered water is available 24x7. It could be perfect, if the room and the bedroom wouldn’t have some room for improvement. The room lacks blackout curtains, which is a big issue for me. It also should have a baggage holder. And the bathroom only has a single hanger for the four towels, which is a headache every day. In summary, a very good option for whom is visiting Athens.

The hotel’s location is excellent. The bell hop’s service and showmanship was extraordinary: as soon as I got checked in, he presented me with gifts (water, juice, soft drinks, some small pastries and slippers) and said, “Here are your gifts, and now your hands are full, so I will take your bags.” *Chef’s kiss.* I also quite enjoyed the hotel breakfast and efficient checkin/checkout. The actual room was pretty good, but less exciting than the other features I mentioned. There was a large shower space and a large water closet, but not a standalone bathroom, and the furnishings were geared towards efficiency. Apparently, Coco-Mat also sells mattresses, so I was surprised to find that the bed was OK, but far from the best hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. The one real negative (and it’s trivial) is that being on a lower floor, I didn’t have a particularly nice view, and I could occasionally hear street noise.

Amazing short stay before cruise. Room was excellent and beautifully laid out. Large balcony was a pleasant space to relax after long day sight seeing around the city. Staff were extremely helpful and polite, would definitely stay here again

Lovely, attentive staff. Very spacious hotel. The rooftop pool and restaurant are closed incase you are choosing it for this reason but would still 100% stay here again for location, cleanliness, comfort and food. My friend also became unwell on our last night as she picked up a big from a cruise we just had - the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, sending medication and arranging a doctor to come and check she was okay.

We loved Coco-Mat BC in Athens! From the friendly welcome when we arrived to the amazing view of the Acropolis from our balcony, to the delicious daily breakfast - everything was the best of the best! If we have the opportunity to return to Greece, we know where we’re going to stay!

Wonderful experience. All the staff at the hotel is excellent. Very convenient location right at the footsteps of Acropolis. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
