This hotel was listed with a “good” rating but it is really edging on “fair” to “poor.” It’s an old and humid building. The room was ok, but it did smell like smoke and there was a stain on one bed’s sheets and visible ones the mattresses around the bottom, but no sign of bugs as other reviews have mentioned. The shower was dirty and I opted not to use it. Breakfast did have a good variety, but no real coffee and the Frosted Flakes were substituted with Corn Flakes, which a guest had a good laugh about. However there were two flavors of waffle mix, biscuits, eggs, and gravy. The staff was nice but I would not stay again and wouldn’t have stayed the one night if we could’ve gotten a refund and found somewhere close to stay. It was definitely not worth the price we paid, but will do if you’re desperate for a place to lay your head that isn’t your car.

It was very affordable but unfortunately the room we stayed in was not cleaned at all. Very bad odor in the room, bed and pillows were not cleaned still have hairs and stains on sheets and pillows. Went to front desk and told them but they just look like nothing they can do, it’s like oh well. Floors were very dirty looks like haven’t been vacuum or mopped in 3 days. Everything in the room was dusty and dirty. Had to cover pillows with clean towels to sleep and slept over the covers with no blankets. We just stayed because it was very short stay, but never again.

The entire property needs updating & improvements. Hallway carpet is extremely old and stained. Bed comforters had stains. Room had an odor. The bathroom door caught on the floor tile. Painting needed. The shower head did not work properly. TV was way too small. Refrigerator / Freezer leaked water on the floor. Breakfast provided was Horrible: waffles, syrup, juice, cereal & milk only. The coffee had a thick foam on top when dispensed. Bad decision on staying here.

I showed up to the hotel and they told me that my reservation had been cancelled and was non refundable even though I had not cancelled it. I had to book a new "deluxe" room that was filthy. If I had not been driving for 14 hours and needed a place to sleep at that moment I would have left. Luckily after some back and forth, hotels.com was able to get me a refund on the original room that was cancelled, but the staff at the hotel was no help at all.

Our room had some kind of Bugs biting us all nightlong we didn’t see any bed bugs but there were definitely bugs biting us we woke up in the morning and the bites were giant we took pictures of them. The whole experience was awful.
