The hotel itself is fine, especially for the price. We had a major issue with the front desk staff. My son and I were attempting to purchase an ice cream from a freezer in the lobby. The desk clerk accused my son of stealing an ice cream and placing it in the pocket of his swim trunks. It was absurd. It did not happen. But he insisted and even made my son turn his pockets inside out in the middle of the lobby with others around. It was completely false, baseless, and humiliating. I was furious but just kept my cool and paid for our two $3 ice cream bars and left. My 11-year-old son was upset and embarrassed. I have no idea what the young man was thinking. He seemed a bit awkward during the check in process, but I didn't think much of it. But the ice cream episode was totally unacceptable. It's unfortunate because it totally tainted a good weekend for our family and an otherwise pleasant experience.

The staff were great. But, the only property was frustrating. The pool access was not as advertised. The clientele were a mix of long term residential, including folks who were clearly disturbed. This was my 2nd visit to the property. There will not be a 3rd.

Our stay at the Baymont by Wyndham was extremely disappointing and concerning. We were not aware at the time of booking that the property houses long term guests, which significantly changed the environment and overall feel of the hotel. There was a strong smell of marijuana throughout the property, including in common areas. The hotel did not appear clean and our room was in unacceptable condition. There was what appeared to be black mold present, which raised serious health concerns for our family. Most importantly, the property did not feel safe. When traveling with family, especially with children, safety and cleanliness are the minimum expectations. Unfortunately, this location did not meet either standard. I would not recommend this hotel to families or anyone looking for a clean and secure place to stay.

Our first room had crumbs in the corners and around the bed. Additionally, when our son got into bed there were blood stains on the sheets and mattress cover. When we got to our second room, an almond and other food was on the floor, the remote had no batteries and a huge urine stain was on the mattress cover where my husband was sleeping. There is dog poop all in the yard and on the sidewalk. There is only one person working at night by themself. The positives- great breakfast options, fun pool/hot tub and nice staff. I would not go back due to lack of cleanliness.

DON'T STAY HERE!!! They lied to us about early check in. Our first room smelled like smoke. They moved us to a cleaner room but it was near a mechanical pump was running and was super loud so I couldn't sleep. They refuse any refunds even if it is their fault or negligence. Their tap water is cloudy and smells like chlorine. They don't have extra pillows for guests. Maintenance is slow. We had a clogged toilet and they didn't come up to look at it before we checked out. Their app charges $20 for late checkout but the front desk will cancel the request and charge you $30. They require a $100 refundable deposit they don't tell you about until you get there. This hotel has thin walls and was incredibly noisy. People were blaring music. LOTS of kids here because they try to be kid-friendly. The front desk person isn't there in the evenings so if you have any trouble at night, you are on your own. We originally booked at the Best Western but found out that Expedia was wrong and there is were no dogs allowed there. So then we booked here at Baymont. We regret that we didn't pay more and go elsewhere. This place reminded me of a college dorm. Noise, people and kids in the hallways, no one taking complaints seriously, and nickel and diming with fees for things that are normally free.

I honestly dont know where to start. The cannabis smoke in the hallway and seeping into our room, the broken heater, falling out tile grout or black mold taking over the bathroom. We spent minimal time in the room and did not notice the mold until our last day. General Manager Eric Scott refused to offer any remedy or even respond to emails.

We paid for our room through Expedia, but when we arrived after driving in hazardous conditions, we were told there was no room and the payment was declined. This was not true. I pulled up a copy of the receipt, itinerary number and reservation number for the staff at Baymont. They were not helpful or customer friendly so I called Expedia. Expedia ended up transferring our room to another hotel due to the staff not answering their phone call so this issue could be resolved. On a side note, I waited over 20 minutes for staff to present to the front check in counter upon arriving to this establishment.

Was better than expected given some of the bad recent reviews, as for me and my family we had a great time, the kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. And the room was pretty decent and the kids loved the breakfast selection.
