Honest Review of Our Stay in Sedalia, Missouri
As someone who travels frequently across the country for filming and reporting events, I was excited to stay at this hotel in Sedalia, Missouri, near the truck and tractor pool event. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the online photos or expectations.
The hotel’s exterior and the room we received were quite disappointing. We had booked a room that was supposed to feature a jetted bathtub, which was prominently displayed in the pictures. However, upon arrival, we found ourselves in a basic, outdated room with none of those amenities. The pool area was unpleasant, with a noticeable bad odor, and the front of the hotel had a strong smell of Thai food, which was off-putting.
Breakfast was underwhelming and did not meet even basic standards. Given my extensive travel experience, I can say this hotel falls short of what is advertised online. If you’re considering booking here, especially based on photos, I would advise caution.
Overall, this stay was below expectations, and I recommend looking at other options when visiting Sedalia.
