The room was good for one night's stay. Bed was really comfortable just not a fan of the feather pillows. New Orleans is historic and so was the hotel just could use some updates. The shower curtain didn't fit in the shower so there was water every where from taking showers. If i every port or of New Orleans again I'd try a different place. Quiet for the area and 4 minutes to the French quarter.

Good location but terrible customer service

Location was good and room was spacious and good but isolation was terrible. it was very noisy (close to a main road) and you could hear everything from the room next door…. In addition I had an issue with reception regarding leaving my suitcase on check out. I contacted the hotel several times but never got a response….

Good location but....

Good location, the hotel itself was pretty. There is no elevator so if you are on the 3rd floor like we were be prepared to lug your bags up 2 flights of steps. Front desk personnel was mostly friendly, one guy not so much and he was there for most of our stay. Rooms are nice enough, pretty small, not a lot of space, no fridge, no safe, no full length mirror, but the bed was comfy. There is on-site parking which was a plus. Overall it's a decent hotel and the price was right especially for Jazzfest weekend.

SCARY!

First of all, this is not a MARRIOTT courtyard (my mistake). From the outside is very scary literally homeless people laying on the sidewalk. I have pictures, zero curb appeal and never found the signage for the hotel.Only stairs. WORST OF ALL never received an answer when calling the front desk for Complaints/concerns such as people screaming, and yelling and pounding on doors FELT VERY UNSAFE and very disrespected. Road noise was almost unbearable! They only allow one key with out $25.00 deposit, poor policy!!! We Won’t ever return!

Decent lovely stay

It was fine! A basic room, the tv channels didn’t work sometimes and there wasn’t a dresser in the room. But the staff was lovely and the housekeeping was on top of things! Also the shower curtain wasn’t long enough to keep the water from going onto the floor. The bed was firm but comfortable and the light was gorgeous. The pool was stunning and never too crowded and easy to have guests over

Not Good Service At All

Before I booked the room, I called the hotel to see if there was a microwave in the “breakfast” area that guests can use. They said yes and it was accessible 24/7. When I checked in I was shown where the microwave is and that yes I can use it. When I went down to use it, the lady name Sherre, not sure how to spell it, told me no that I am not allowed to use it. I also had to wake her up because she was asleep. Also we had 4 people staying in this room. We were only given 2 towels and no wash clothes. No one answered at the desk and no one was tending the desk. After multiple trips to the front desk someone was finally there and brought us towels and wash clothes. The room itself was clean. It is close to Bourbon Street. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The service isn’t great at all. Also the walls are super thin. You can hear everything going on with the neighbors. The property is really run down. Def not worth the price.

Check in was supposed to be at 4:00 but room wasn’t ready. Then I was given a room that someone else was staying in. So I had wait longer. Walls are thin and you can hear conversations of others. Close to bourbon street and good food.

Location is good. It is on a busy street. Rooms that face exterior instead of the courtyard can be a bit noisy. Very basic amenities. Courtyard area is nicer

fraudulent description

We arrived in New Orleans, and got an uber to the address. When we got there, there was no sign, and even the building - 1100 did not exist. In frustration we crossed the street wondered up and down looking for the mysterious Courtyard Hotel. After about 25 minutes of asking various passer bye, we had someone appear and lead us to the hotel. No signage at all! We had to struggle with our luggage up steep steps to a surly "receptionist" who asked if we were good with steps .... Then he told us the room was available early for a $75 extra charge. My friend and I were shown a dirty room, and she told me she would not stay there. We quickly found an alternate hotel and left. We should receive a complete refund, this was not as advertised and did not reflect the pictures on your site on all levels. We did not take pictures, because we needed to leave immediately, this is shady and disgraceful. Shame on you Courtyard and hotels.com.
