The room appeared ok at first… the gap around the door was crazy, the bathroom was GROSS! The back of the door was very dirty, paint missing. It looked like they found a door at the bump and put it up. The seams between the floor and tub appeared to be wood or dirt, but the worse part was the black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. In the morning my clothes felt damp and smelled funny. It was so very disappointing.

I was looking for a quick place to spend the night after a long few days on the road. Property was nice. Staff was awesome. My only semi-complaint was I couldn't find the remote, but I was so exhausted I didn't care. I'd staff here again without a second thought. Thank you.

Staff was awesome with my preferences for ground floor rm since I'm waiting on back surgery. They immediately replied shortly after booking my reservation they had me assigned in a nice secure room. I always felt totally safe coming & going!!

We appreciated the cost and campus proximity. The front desk women were extremely kind. However, as female travelers we were concerned. Several men lingered around our door, one looked like he was trying to break into a car, there’s glass and cigarette butts everywhere, and the aesthetic upgrades do not extend to the bathroom. Honestly, if you’re a construction worker or party person, this may be the place for you.

I was skeptical when booking because on Clemson Homecoming weekend, the surrounding hotels were double the price. This is a no-frills motel, but it was clean and the staff was attentive and accommodating. The room was big enough to accommodate a cot or blow up bed. The ice machine worked great. The bed was comfortable. I was able to get an Uber to and from Clemson university, which was a mile and a half away. This is close to shopping. My only complaint is that some serious smoking had gone on in the room where we stayed, and it absolutely reeked, which was a downer.

A lot has gone into remodeling this hotel. We were very pleased with the renovations and updated technology. My biggest issue with this property was the smell of our room. The facility is now pet and smoke free but was obviously not so in the past. Our room still smelled like smoke which I am allergic to. The breakfast was minimal but fine. I wouldn't stay here again unless the smoke smell was taken care of.

The door to the room did not close all the way and left daylight and hot air in the room. Faucets in the bathroom were not connected to the wall and the water pressure was a trickle at best. The bathroom door did not close. The room overall had a bad smell, bed were very hard.
