Wonderful stay!!

Our stay was wonderful from the welcoming staff at the front desk (Geo) to the clean, spacious homey room we stayed in. This is the nicest place we have stayed at in this area and it will be our Houston go to place! Love the fresh scent as we walked in to the hotel and the cleanliness of everything! Breakfast was also very good! Highly recommend!

In the last few years the overall appearance & maintenance has declined a bit. The hallway carpet is dirty. The water pressure was poor in my room on my last stay. The linens are old/not crisp. But the employees are very nice and the pricing is good.

I have always loved staying at this Hampton Inn. Their service has been spectacular. It’s quiet, reasonably priced and in a great location. On this trip, I inadvertently arrived a day early, but they were able to shuffle some things to make it work. Plus, it’s walking distance to IHOP, Twin Peaks, and Carabba's. Since I only use Uber nowadays that makes it easier to get all kinds of food at any hour.

I was lucky to get a room during the Houston Outage caused by Beryl. Super nice staff and very understanding about my situation. I had 2 parakeets in a cage and they were so kind, didn’t charge a fee unlike other places. Definitely Pet friendly. And super clean!!! The cleaning staff deserves an applause. WiFi worked great, many eating options a few feet away. Felt very safe at this location.

The minute I got into my hotel room, I was surprised to get a welcome text from Tammi asking how I like the room. I mentioned that I like every thing except a dampen smell. Tammi immediately ask if I want another room and found me another better room. I was amazed with the quick service even though they were busy with guests at the front desk.

The check in and out was fast and very friendly. The room had a bad smell specially when the A/C would stop. I didn't say anything because I was just staying for a night. But the smell was bad.

Not a bad place but there are things to improve on

Very friendly and welcoming staff, easy check in and check out. Having to request for cleaning service the night before was inconvenient especially when travelling with a child. The room was newly renovated but certain things were not updated (old bathtub, low water pressure, some of the lamps only worked some of the time). Breakfast was good but rather crammed space, meaning you're seated very close to guests of other tables.
