This hotel is a great place to stay. We stayed in an Executive Twin Room which was 21 sq. metres and very comfortable for the two of us. Facilities are excellent: great staff with limited English though, rooms are clean and the breakfast was great. Location was perfect for buses and trains.Highly recommend this hotel. You will not find a better place to stay.

Close to Kyoto Station

The location is great but the room we stayed in felt cramped for two people. The air was suffocating even with the AC on but it was better with the window open. There were minor stains on the walls in the bathroom and the main room, and dust on the kettle. I do wish there was a higher requirement for cleanliness but given the amenities, being able to request toiletries and borrow spa items- this is a great hotel for the price and location.

Short stay in Kyoto while we visited surrounding areas. For location you couldn’t do any better. Right by Kyoto station. Lots of food around. Rooms are typical Japanese hotel room size. Bed was more Comfortable than other hotels. Use Serta coil mattress. Did love the pillow bar in lobby. Didn’t use the spa as they don’t allow tattoos and I have one on my forearm. Would recommend if you just there to sleep.
