One night stay for two

Up in the mountainside surrounded by forest lays this beautiful monastery. We visit the monastery, tried the local wine and had dinner at the restaurant. It had a great view and it was silent and nice. Our room was clean and nice and the beds comfortable. We definitely want to come back again!

Einzigartige Umgebung mitten im Kloster. Da wir ein Konzert besucht haben waren die Wege kurz (auch nach der Weinprobe) und auch der Preis für ein drei Sterne Hotel angemessen. Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück ausreichend. Für Kurzurlaube super zu empfehlen. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt fehlt unserer Ansicht nach die Abwechslung.

Positiv: Das Hotel ist direkt beim Kloster Eberbach. Dadurch kann man auch die Abendstimmung beim Kloster mit einem Glas Wein genießen. Das Zimmer war sauber. Wasserkocher mit Teeauswahl im Zimmer verfügbar. Negativ: Ich hatte ein Zimmer im EG. Das Fenster war so hoch, dass es nur über elektr. Schalter geöffnet/geschlossen werden konnte und leider keinen Blick hinaus ermöglicht hat. Das Bad war behindertengerecht eingerichtet. Daher mit offener Dusche ohne Duschkabine und extra hoher Toilette. Schade, dass dies bei der Buchung nicht ersichtlich war. Die Nachtruhe wurde leider häufig unterbochen, da Gespräche aus dem offenen Treppenhaus/Flur auch durch die doppelten Türen zu hören waren. Samstags wurde die Location für eine Hochzeit genutzt, daher leider keine klösterliche Ruhe.
