Forgotten Town

We chose this location to travel to other destinations before heading to Cornwall, but it was a disappointing stay for various reasons to many to name.

Great Place!

Really friendly staff who really go the extra mile to help out and make you feel welcome. Great atmosphere in the bar and the rooms are spotless. This is the 4th time I’ve stayed at the George and I’ll definitely be back!

Very friendly staff throughout my whole stay - check in/dinner/breakfast. Comfortable clean room. Good selection of food on menu for dinner. Overall a great find, and would stay again if I was in the area.

It isvery old building which adds to tis charm but makes access to first and second floors for over 8o's difficult. I probably would not have booked the stay had I know about the incredibly steep and narrow stairs to our room. The staff in the main were friendly and helpful
