Our Stay at Paradise Stream Resort!

The Paradise Stream Resort was a very cute and quiet place to have my honeymoon! My husband and I were very happy with the outcome and everyone was so nice and sweet! Carmella at the gift shop was amazing and she would always give us good tips on where to go around and outside of the resort. The gift shop had nice things to purchase too. We did our massages there and that was an amazing experience. We will go back for an anniversary! Thank you to Aaron too, who served us breakfast most days. It was great service and he was amazing as well :)

Anniversary trip lows…

Our first night there there was food (rice) on the floor under the coffee table I let that one slide. My wife filled the tub only for me to return and there’s a film floating alone with other particles in the tub. They sent someone to clean it. I woke up the next morning in which I found some of our hygiene items covered in little ants. Thought I took care of the problem until we returned to the room later that afternoon and the problem with the ants was back to square one. I go down to the front desk for them to tell me they are sending someone, call made and all before I left. For them to show up 2 hours later when my wife was sleeping. Was told Wednesday when we checked out that the manager would be in contact that day. The manager never called until I reached out on their site 😏 on another note. They apparently didn’t even put us in the room we selected either….

For the amount of money I paid, the place needed to be better kept. My wife wanted to use the champagne hot tub and it was in bad condition. The property needs to improve. It is so rundown.

Ok but not worth the money

Overall it was a nice place, but not worth the money. I had to call down 3 times to get the pool temp lowered. The vent in the bathroom didn't work. They had the fireplace in the heated room with the pool, which didn't make any sense to me. The bed was neat looking but not really comfortable

A Time Was Had!

Long but Very Detailed Review I was so nervous about booking this place for our anniversary because of some of the reviews I had read. I stayed nervous all the way here! However, check-in was smooth. I believe her name was Diana—she was very nice, explained almost everything the resort included, and handed me our keys within 10 minutes. Most of the time was spent signing the contract. I also loved the map they provided for directions to our room. Once we got to the room and I looked around, I was so happy we decided to stay here. We stayed in the Diana Oasis Suite, which had a great setup and was even bigger than I expected. I'm the type of person who cleans the room upon arrival, no matter where I stay, but the suite was already clean for the most part. There were some fun activities for us, though I wish there had been more couples around to fully enjoy them. The food at Spooners was good, and Karaoke night was awesome—shoutout to the DJ who was there! Breakfast was also good, but on one of the days, the waffle batter was too thin. Bowling was different but fun. I did have a few cons during my stay. The pool area in our suite could have been wiped down better—I noticed some webs and bugs in the corners. Also, I really don’t like that hotels are getting rid of microwaves. Staying here for a week without a way to warm up leftovers was frustrating. Maybe they could consider placing at least one microwave near the ice machine, which could also be located closer to the rooms

Expected more

This was our 2nd time and even though we knew what to expect we were a lil disappointed. The room was more expensive than last time but this room was so out dated. It felt like a cheap hotel when I walked in and the hot tub in the middle of the room was a lil weird. The tv had a glitch and skipped on every channel. The bed and sofa were really comfortable! The entertainment at night was great; food is amazing. I wish the game room area was just a tiny bit more clean and I wish the pool was heated. The hot tub was nice! We had a really nice time but last yr was better. For the amount of money I paid for a 2 night stay, I expected a lil more this time. Also, discounts on drinks or maybe some drink tickets would be nice. This place is pricey to be having to put drinks on your card on file the whole time. We’ll be back again but maybe during a different season or after some time has passed
