Great staff at check in, pool/gym area and restaurant. Pool area could use a little TLC, the gym equipment could do with an update and the changing rooms could do without multiple towels on the floor to create a non-slip walkway as they were filthy. Food in restaurant was nice, but the soup was barely lukewarm. Bedrooms are well maintained, but mattresses are very firm. Shower was excellent. Reduced parking rate for guests at £7.50.

Went for last summer trip before school Literally right opposite waterworld and 50 minutes to Alton towers. Hotel was lovely and clean friendly staff. Bar & Restaurant area was lovely Rooms were nice and clean . Beds were nice, but pillows were really soft, but that's jusrt personal preference Breakfast was amazing lots of choice Only downside our room was underneath a function, and was noisy also smoking area right underneath our room, so children found it difficult to get to sleep. Thought with having children they would of put us in another room has booking did have children on it Other than that lovely stay and would return

Lovely hotel, very comfortable beds, clean everywhere. We went half board and the £30 dinner allowance was great. The food was delicious (especially the lasagne), breakfast was phenomenal, great choice of hot and cold food. Swimming pool was lovely and the gym looked well equipped. We stayed for two nights, as we combined our stay from London to Alton towers Hotel was clean and inviting on arrival Unexpectedly you have to pay for the parking as was explained when we arrived There were two events in the evening of the two days we stayed. Which then when we arrived later back in the evening there was limited parking so we then had to park outside the hotel! Surely the hotel guests have the priority over the parking we got our payment back as compensation. A few people complained. Overall rooms and bathrooms were clean and bathrooms had a nice shower Breakfast was nice and always being replenished. A nice stay

We absolutely love this hotel, it is our second stay and it doe not disappoint. We use the hotel when visiting Alton Towers and It is absolutely perfect. Very family friendly and the staff go above and beyond. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The pool are is clean and due to having to book a swim slot does not get too busy. The gym facilities are perfect to keep yourself active whilst away with a range of machines and equipment over two rooms. Breakfasts is worth adding as sets everyone up for the day with a massive choice for everybody. A special shoutout to the hostess at breakfast on Monday 24th Aug, I didn’t catch her name but she was clearly rushed off her feet with having both the Resturant full and having to open the bar area but she remained calm and polite and kept on top of everything. We didn’t want to go home.

Fantastic stay, room was very comfortable and as a coeliac I requested a gluten free breakfast not from the buffet, as never trust buffet tongs when there are gluten containing items about… Tiff was fantastic and incredibly knowledgable, putting me at ease and confident about the food I received. Only stayed in passing to break a long journey but if ever in the area again then its definitely on my list of places to stay again!
