The outside was scary. There was a person on drugs hanging off the side of the railing when we arrived at 1 am, another guest came in high in drigs with his music blasting and cuss words every other word. As a female I was a bit scared.

The rooms while listed as non-smoking, were not actually. There was a constant, headache-inducing smell of either nicotine or marijuana. I had to go to CVS and buy deodorizing spray and apply that multiple times. The continental breakfast was OK, but I did not feel secure inside my room. The only perk was being able to see my car where it was parked outside to make sure no suspicious characters got close. Our bathroom door was so damaged on the bottom that you could not close it. The shower constantly dripped, and it was stained from previous attempts at cleaning it, we opted not to take a shower over our two night stay. The toilet seat was so loose, it would shift when sitting on it. As two women, obviously we did not have the option not to sit, this was extremely upsetting.

Pool not open yet (as of Apr 11, so n/a for review. Bed (dbl rm, 3rd floor) very comfortable. Pillows were great, Bedding was so clean i give 5+ rating (as were towels, etc) Room in general clean, but bathroom walls in need Deep clean! Staff we encountered were considerate and professional. Breakfast was so-so but plentiful. There was waffle maker ( we don't eat them), but batter looked fresh. Sm yogurts ( I think Intivia), indiv-wrapped sm apples, sausage patties you heat in what seemed a Very good heat oven ( there were english muffins & thick white bread). 2% milk, but the OJ i think was something like Tang.

The SureStay Plus was a bit rough around the edges. Pulling in, you're greeted with what looks like homeless people that appear to be living in the ground floor rooms. Check in & front desk staff were fine. The room itself was basic, but functional. WiFi worked ok. Lots of noise at night (door slamming?) but a call to the front desk helped resolve it. Breakfast was lacking. They have a waffle maker, but no toppings besides syrup. No eggs. Small selection of tired-looking bulk cereal. Small, plastic-wrapped apples.

The shower tub combination needs to be resurfaced and new faucets. The paint is peeling in the tub and rusty at the faucet. The bathroom door sticks needs repair. Also the hot water runs out very fast. Also, I have killed a couple of roaches on the walls so bring bug spray. The area is well lit at night and somewhat quiet. It is a lot of night parking lot traffic that goes on. There is a soft spot on the floor that makes me nervous so I do not walk on that side of the bed. I think the overcharge for the hotel considering the look of it, but I know it's a business. It is not the best and some of the people that is here seems odd, but at least you are not out in the streets. They do serve breakfast, I hadn't been but it is advertised. I think the prices could be lowered a little bit more for what you get or offer discounts to people that stay a few more nights.
