10/10 Excellent

Everything was good except the the hike up all those steps to the rooms

10/10 Excellent

On a motorcycle trip in southeastern Ohio Thursday night and looking for a place to stay near Marietta. Pulled this place up on Expedia and it looked like a winner. This place was very nice, better than I expected, whoever remodeled this place did a fabulous job. Very nice restaurant and bar downstairs, I hope to come back here again. Highly recommended.

The hotel was fantastic! Beautiful, clean & quite.

Stayed in the Riley Suite. First time in a boutique hotel and I was floored with the atmosphere of this place. Huge bonus was the on-site restaurant/bar “Galley” which was absolute class.
Dimitri, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

We got to the hotel late but were greeted with friendliness and a welcoming attitude. The room was lovely, as advertised. However, the air conditioning was insufficient to cool the room below 77 degrees. More than 2 full sized towels would have been appreciated as well. The shower pressure was outstanding!! We enjoyed the common area and wished we had time to play Scrabble and do the puzzle. Will definitely plan a longer stay when we can enjoy the reataurant and live music.

So cozy

The room was comfortable, and the main area was so cute.

Superb Hotel for the experienced traveller

Superb hotel experience in a vintage Marietta, OH building. Well taken care of by owners and staff. Having the Galley restaurant downstairs is super convenient. Not the best prescription for folks with bad knees as the stairs up can be daunting. But superior quality and experience for the true Traveller.

The hotel and restaurant below were both beautiful. Our room was breathtaking - the revamped hotel is just stunning, and the common area/breakfast room is very thoughtfully appointed.
Emilie, 1-night trip

Really nice historic property. Perfect for our weekend getaway. Rooms are on the third floor accessible only by stairs so not the right venue for anyone with mobility challenges. We would definitely stay again.

Galley is an amazing restaurant on the property. They can do alot to accommodate food allergies, especially gluten, nuts and dairy. Wonderful property and surrounding shops.

Great stay at the Hacket

Great stay at the Hacket Hotel. Very clean and comfortable room. We did not have a chance to try the restaurant as it was a Sunday and close but we went to the Lafayette Hotel for dinner and it was good. The town is worth a visit. Overall a hreat stay.
Gilles, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The hotel was beautiful yet affordable, historic but modern and it was central to the downtown area so we were able to walk around to everywhere we wanted to go. The only downside was we only stayed one night! We will definitely be back but will stay more than one night!
Chris, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Vintage and nicely updated hotel. Room was large and comfortable. Downtown location was convenient to the outdoor concert we attended. The hotel is a three story walk up which may be an issue if you have mobility issues. If we are in the area, would stay again!
Brian, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Wish there were a fitness centre. Everything else was PERFECT
Curtis, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great hotel! Communal area has a fridge stocked with water and juice, there’s coffee, cereal, snacks etc which was great to have! The restaurant is convenient and the food is really good. The only downside is that If you’re spending any extended time in the room (I did because it was raining all day) there is limited tv and no WiFi that I could find. Staff was super friendly and helpful. If you have limited mobility - there are a lot of stairs and they’re steep!
Jill, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The hotel is very well kept with comfortable beds and bathroom accommodations. One must climb over 40 steps to get to the room which can be challenging for some people. The hotel is very private and is located above a restaurant/bar. The hotel supplies some breakfast items as a self serve —nice feature, if interested. Hotel is walkable to the Main Street in Marietta which has some restaurants, bars, stores, etc. in addition, a ride in a car can take you to Harmar as well as other areas along the Muskingham River. Would highly recommend.
Karen, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

The internet was spotty and there wasn’t staff on site. It is attached to a restaurant bar which could make it noisy on weekends.
Jennifer, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Beautiful rooms (by far the best in town) in historic setting. The Hackett, now reborn, was a notorious run-down seedy flophouse when I was growing up. Negatives: (1) No elevator; be prepared to walk up 2 long flights to 3rd-floor rooms (help with luggage is available, and an elevator is in the works); (2) facility is next door to the Adelphia Music Hall, which can create noise issues for some folks until 10 pm on show nights, although I didn't find it unpleasant or too loud; and (3) there was no channel guide to be found in the room and spotty TV reception. These are minor nits compared to quality of facility and helpfulness of staff.
