Disgusting

Okey so I have a lot to say. The floors made my feet black in the room they were so gross, the toilet bowl had brown in it like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, the water pressure was so bad in the shower I couldn’t even get the shampoo out of my hair, we went almost a full day with no tp and the cleaning ladies only come by I think once. We pulled our own trash and had to put it outside the room for them to take it, and the cleaning ladies argued with us when we told them we needed stuff. The pool was closed the whole 5 days I was there even tho it was supposed to be open(we were even told it was open by front desk and then were told it was closed), the bathroom door didn’t fully shut or lock, the pillows were so cheap my neck hurt the next day. The fridge was gross and didn’t really work. I just do not recommend staying here and I will not be going back to this hotel. Save your money and your time because this room isn’t worth it.

Fond Memories, But in Need of Repairs and Updates

The room is in need of updates. The sofa cushions or the sofa itself need to be replaced; stains on the fabric, no one sat on it. The shower curtain needs to be thrown away; covered with stains. Replace the toilets; they are too low. Check the plumbing; bathroom sink wasn't draining; water pooled. Even the breakfast went downhill; they use to offer hard boiled eggs at least. I've stayed here several times in the past to visit my grandkids. But I haven't stayed here in 10 years, so the place has aged, and not well. Keeping it clean and looking tidy cannot hide the chipped paint, broken baseboards, stains on all the linen, dents in walls etc. This stay was not good. Appearance of room is just sad. It was just for a night, and it was the cheapest; you get what you pay for. I don't think I'll be staying here in the future. So sorry for this hotel; memories with grandkids, because it was the first hotel I stayed at my very first visit to Navarre, FL. It's really unfortunate.

Go somewhere else if money is not an issue

"You get what you pay for" HOWEVER.... For $100 / night in other places like Orlando, i would get way more decent accommodations including possibly staying in a universal resort. Though $100/ night is cheap, i would still expect clean drapes, working door keys, a working tv remote, and an actual breakfast other than Costco individual wrapped muffins. The only positive was that the front desk staff was nice but their only replies to these issues is that every room is like that when i asked to switch rooms. We ended up going across the street to best western for $50 more per night and a WORLD of difference. Way cleaner, beautiful views, heated pool and a Hot Breakfast. This is good to stay cheap but don't expect anything else.

Called about pool before booking. Open, but dirty.

Room clean, furniture old, cable TV "buffering" on multiple channels, shower was hot. Pool open, but dirty. Breakfast pitiful. Staff friendly.

Needs updating/

The stay was okay. It was an older hotel definitely could use some updating. The door to the hotel did not like to stay shut. Therefore, you had to make sure you secured it issues with the bathtub not wanting to drain. It is in a great location. I’m giving the hotel the rating that I’m gave it due to the simple fact that it definitely needs updating and we had to leave our reservation early due to a death in the family. We checked out early the front desk lady said that she could not give us a receipt because we booked through Hotels.com and that we would need to contact them. I contacted them. They said they had to reach out to the hotel to make sure that we did check out. I requested a refund for the days that we did not stay. They said they would have to check with the hotel. I got an email this morning telling me that they have reached out multiple times to the hotel and unable to give me a refund for the remaining days. I find this crazy for the simple fact that it states that if I do not show up from my reservation, they will charge me for one full day and any fees. Which I totally understand however I showed up from my reservation stayed two full days had a family emergency and requested a refund for the remaining days. The hotel tells me I need to contact the people I booked through the people I booked through. Tell me they have to contact the hotel. Something is not right with the situation so therefore I will not be booking with either one of these again.
