The hotel room was filthy dirt behind toilet. Pubic hair on toilet seat. Linen in 2nd bedroom was filthy!! Dirt streaks on linen. First bedroom bed was just thrown together although the linen was clean. Mold and mildew in shower. Soap scum on soap dish inside shower proving shower wasn’t cleaned. By far the worst room I have ever purchased and I was left with no other options because my car was broken and I was waiting on shipment of car parts.

We stayed here for one night. It was very convenient to Chowan University. We had everything we needed and we could tell that there were upgrades made but it is still very old and needs more updating. The beds were extremely hard and noisy when you would move. The walls are thin and it was rather noisy when people were outside the room or walking around upstairs. It was overall clean and there was a microwave and a fridge. I think the stay could have been more comfortable if the beds were a bit softer and less noisy. It was adequate for our needs but definitely could be improved.

I tried to cancel my reservations online but couldn’t. Poor place to stay , room smelled a lot . I did not stay and returned my key after checking in and kept driving! There were no other place to stay in that town. Overall it is not good town to stay overnight.
